Intrigue –2 Day Floral Workshop  #2dayswithintrigue  

Be inspired, learn new technique and immerse yourself in flowers styling for two amazing days. I have found that I learn best when I am in an environment that provokes creative energy, so, the Intrigue team designed this workshop to do just that. Each day is carefully cultivated to provide you with everything you will need to fully open your mind and absorb the inspiration and excitement that I design with every day. I will share the basic such as recipes and mechanics as well as discussing vital topics including social media, selling and pricing. The workshop will conclude with a full  scale styled shoot captured by a renowned photographer. (The styled shoot is my favorite part of the workshop.)  

Day 1

‐ Introductions: Getting to know each other
‐ Discussion: Social Media –Making the most of Instagram
‐ Hands on design: Over sized Centerpieces
‐ Structural Mechanics: Creating a base that accommodates size and weight
‐ Discussion: Calculating recipes and developing price structure

‐ Discussion: Getting Published & Becoming the expert in your market (Blog/Print/TV) 
‐ Hands on design: Floral Chandelier
‐ Structural Mechanics: Identifying or creating a structure that can be suspended safely 
‐ Discussion: Selling, Pricing and Developing a sought after brand

Day 2 

‐ Structural Mechanics: building, stabilizing, installing
‐ Hands on design: Floral Wall
‐ Discussion: Calculating recipe and developing price structure
‐ Discussion: Developing your brand

‐ Discussion: Event Styling –Creating a high end style through linen, china, furniture, paper and details
‐ Hands on design: Table Styling
‐ Styled Shot walk through with ( Photographer to be announced )
‐ Closing remarks / Q&A

*Travel & Accommodations not include (Air Travel: There are 3 major airports you can fly into (Baltimore/Washington International (recommended), Reagan National, Dulles International).  There are a number of hotels to choose from in the Annapolis area.  Our favorites are the Westin Hotel and the Loews Hotel.  If you want to stay for a few extra days and experience all Annapolis has to offer we suggest the Historic Inns of Annapolis which is just steps from the United States Naval Academy and Historic Downtown Annapolis.
